How to find the area of composite figures

ok so I have a figure that it a semi circle and a triangle put together it looks like an icecream cone ..ok so the radius of the semicircle is 8 and the height of the triangle is 15 what is the answer to this problem

The area of the ice cream will be half the area of a circle with that diameter plus the area of the triangle will be half the area of a 8 by 15 rectangle.
