Can anyone help me with working out / nutrition?

you have to be determined first off, weather its to impress someone with a nice body or to feel healthier, running is the best way to get fit, I lost 15 lbs in 2 months running for an hour at soccer practices every week day

also drinking soda is an extreme no no for losing weight and getting good nutrition, my 40 yr old step father lost 10 lbs when he quit drinking soda in a month , time shows results dont be hasty

Yes, working out outdoors in the fresh air beats working out indoors but I recommend you do cardio like running, cycling outdoors and weight training indoors.

Also, eat plenty of fruits everyday and have a raw veggie salad everyday along with what else you are eating. Drink lots of water.

it doesn't have to be hard or intense exercise. You can go hiking with your friends and even that will benefit you a lot, maybe even more than exercise. Engage in a variety of healthy activities.
