Not allowed to date!

Sorry about all the questions. So as I said I am 14. Here's the problem... I am not allowed to date. I have spoken to my mom and dad about it but... No I am to young and should live my life. I want to experience a proper relationship and not a secret. What do you guys think?

U shud b able to, to learn from experience so when u get older u will kno the basics.

Hmm... they should allow you as you seem to be a sensible girl who can take care of herself. They just want to protect you and may allow you to date when you are slightly elder like 16 or more. You can tell them you can take care of yourself so please allow you to date.

ok now I know that all this time I have been supporting most pre-teen or under 16 dating questions but recently something in church made me change my mind. You may think you are ready but you are not and it may be best for your parents to decide about datding so just wait until you are old enough like 16 just two measly years.

Your parents know you better than any of us. They are probably not allowing you to date to keep you out of situations like the one you've got going on with the guy who lives in your home country. Parents aren't as dumb as you think, and kids are rarely as "grown" as they think. Trust them on this one, and enjoy your friends and everything else you've got going on in your life. Boys will be there later when you are allowed to date, so you aren't really missing anything.
