Using examples assess the pros and cons of trade and aid as a means of eradicating poverty

It's like the difference between giving a person some fish and teaching them to catch their own. Either the fish or foreign aid will leave people hungry after the gift has been consumed. If a poor country can increase it's foreign trade however, the additional production will increase employment, helping to reduce poverty.
