well how I tamed my budgies, I just let them alone for about two weeks but I did talk to them alot and the first day, I gave them spray millet wich they love ALOT. not from my hand, I just held it from the door and they ate it. then I put my finger very slowly into the cage and my male budgie put one foot on so he or she might do it. trust me , its hard to tame a female budgie but male budgies are easy to tame :) then I let them there for two months, and then I took my budgie, and I closed the toilet so he doesnt fall in and I closet the kertons of the bathtub so he doesnt fall in, and I put him on my knees. I put spray millet there and he started to nibble on it. then you can talk to him sloowly and he would calm down. then you can let him play on the ground and then after a few days of repeating the same thing, you can take him and put him on your shoulder. or arm.( they would nibble your hair alot :) ) and than he might stay on you or keep repeating it and you can bring him in your bedroom while your doing homework or watching tv or even being on your laptop and he would stay in a corner watching , or he would go on you and watch what you are doing.
