Why do I constantly dream of my ex boyfriend amd his new girlfriend?

My ex boyfriend and I have been broken up for over a year and a half now. I am in a new relationship and I love my new boyfriend very much. He is everything I have ever wanted and needed in a man and he treats me how I should be treated. I am absolutely crazy over him. We have been dating for a year now and are about to move in together. Though for the past two weeks I have had dreams about me, my ex, his new girfriend, and my new boyfriend. It always has to do with me and my ex sneaking and talking to one another having heart filled conversation about our feelings. But last night I dreamed he was engaged and it really hurt my feelings. I am tired of having these dreams and I want them to stop. I don't think of him during the day, I never see him, but I constantly dream of him. Why?

you probably dream of him because of subconiouss feelings for him or it could be becasue you had feelings for him but I think one way to solve this is by seeing a dream expert or prayer
