What type of makeup should I wear

Hi!! So I am in 7th grade, and I am hoping to start wearing makeup soon. Lots of other girls in my school wear makeup, and my mom is okay with it, as long as it is light makeup. particularly for the eyes, and I also need to find some foundation that matches my skin color. So what is good light eye makeup that is good for a seventh grader? and where can I get it? thanks for your help!!

I don't know the brand but you can get really light make up at Walmart. I got my first make up from there when I was in seventh grade and my little sis who is in 5th gets it from there and no one notices I know a 7th grader who does too! So I find it is a very good place to buy light make up.

Another place is target(just as good)

thanks!! I live right near walmart and target so thats perfect! :)
No problem!
I love makeup...

My favorite brand is e.l.f. If you live near a Target, you can get some of the line there. Otherwise, eyeslipsface.com. I recommend their mineral line, since it's free of parabens and all the other nasty chemicals. Many of their studio line products are paraben-free too.

I'd say go for something nice and neutral, and quick. What about:
-- a mineral foundation (http://www.eyeslipsface.com/minerals/face/foundation/foundation) or a liquid foundation (http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/face/foundation/flawless_finish_foundation). If this liquid formula is too full coverage for you, you can mix it with moisturizer to thin it.
-- eyeshadow primer (http://www.eyeslipsface.com/minerals/eyes/concealers_and_primers/eyeshadow_primer)
-- a wash of a neutral shadow over your eyelid (http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/eyes/eyeshadow/single_eyeshadow WILD WHEAT is my fav)
-- a dark brown eyeliner on the top lid only, slightly smudged a bit with your finger so it doesn't look so severe (http://www.eyeslipsface.com/minerals/eyes/eyeliner/eye_liner)
-- a *little* bit of a soft pink or peach blush (http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/face/blush/studio_blush PEACHY KEEN is my fav)
-- and a good sheer lip gloss (http://www.eyeslipsface.com/minerals/lips/gloss/lip_gloss NIGHT OWL is my fav) or a lip tint (http://www.eyeslipsface.com/minerals/lips/lip_balm/moisturizing_lip_tint_spf_8)

e.l.f. makes excellent brushes. I've had the same brushes for, I think, 4 years now. They only cost $1-3 and hold up very well with regular washing. If they come apart, you can reheat the glue with a blow dryer and put them back together. It hasn't happened to me yet, but That's a tip that works with artist brushes.

You can find TONS of makeup tutorials on YouTube. Search "school makeup" for school appropriate looks. Here's a nice teen look form one of my fav YT makeup channels:

Wear a primer or something to protect to your skin if you're going to cover your entire face with foundation. You can wear mascara and do your eyebrows. Maybe a brownish eyeshadow for special events.
