Can music change you?

So I started listening to a rapper who's name I won't say cuz ppl who see this who kno me wud kno its me from who I say it is. But his music sounded great but it was as if it was demon possessed, it caused my aggression level to increase and I felt very wreckless and strong and powerful and hype and easily angered, but dumber. And I became louder and more of an in ur face kinda person which isn't really tht much like the normal me, also my sex drive increased by a lot. It was like I had a testosterone boost from this music and my thoughts became more violent, but I'm giving it up cuz its bad for me. Ik it was the music cuz I've been clean from it for a week and I'm closer to my normal self. But is it really possible or was it all in my head, the same thing happened to my friends from tht exact same music, jus less drastically. My change was the worse and I'm not kidding. Also I became really arrogant, which idk y.

Hi there,

Music is prominent in adolescents’ lives. Teenagers spend between four and five hours a day listening to music and watching music videos. No longer are rock stars the ones that young people look up to. Rather they have been replaced by young hip-hop stars and rappers the lyrics in their songs are harsh, so it can definitely cause you distress. In the media it seems that certain groups that are affiliated with particular genres of music, often seen with styles such as rap and hard-rock/heavy metal, are pinpointed when something within their community goes awry, as having been strongly influenced by the music they listen to.

So today even there are many form of music present, but then a classic will remain a classic and eternal. I love classical music and made my own collection from Music Forte- http://www.musicforte.com/sheet_music/digital_downloads/ which always uplifts my spirits and touches the soul.
