Windows 7 compatibility problem.

So,here's the deal.
Being a hell of a gamer of random games,I always have a game or two on my computer, which is Windows XP.
However, it broke last week .-.
So,to mah help comes a netbook with Windows 7.Yay.
But here goes the problem.
ePSXe doesn't fucking work and always crashes.
Oh,and on top of that..
When I download games such as games from Big Fish Games,or stuff like that,I go install them, but when I double clicked the last one I downloaded, two processes appeared on the Process bar on Task Manager...but then dissapeared shortly after.
And the game doesn't open.
FYI,I've tried trouble-shooting,and definetly have tried compatibility mode with WXP Pack 1,Pack 2,Pack 3 and the rest,NOT working.Tried with admin rights, same thing.
Please.Help.
