Am I crazy to be thinking about marriage?

I'm 18 and my boyfriend is 17. We've been together for 3 years and I'm absolutely in love with him and know he's the one. I'm a senior in high school and I plan on going to massage therapy college which is a 10 month college. My boyfriend however is a sophomore due to being in the hospital for more than half his school year. I believe I'm ready to be "engaged". Not yet married and I'm not really planning on becoming married until he graduates his college which is also a 10 month college. But he says he isn't ready? Am I crazy for wanting this? I've already talked to my mom who said it was fine. And what does he mean by not ready?

I won't comment on the crazy part... but I do think it's way to soon. At your age, all you've seen of this world is a very small part of it. By locking yourself down so young, you're limiting your ability to learn more about the world and yourself.

You're boyfriend saying he's not ready means that he understands that. It doesn't mean he doesn't love you.

If the relationship is so strong and solid, then it won't be harmed by waiting until you're at least in your twenties.

agreed
he's only 17 how can he be ready for marriage
you guys have to get your careers going, see if you still love each other as much and then consider getting married
but that's just my opinion
