Explai the contribution of paul dirac, wolfgang pauli, werner heisenberg and erwin schrodinger to quantum theroy

Schrodinger put a cat in a box with a vile of poison. the poison would then randomly be released killing the cat. so while the box is covered the cat could either be dead or alive as we don't know but if we open the box we only find out the one possibity. if we on the box and the poison is released the cat would have to be dead. but if not released then the cat would be alive. the cat can't be alive if the poison is released . the same vise versa
