I am having a muscular problem in the gym and need help?

When im in the gym, I am having a problem with my left arm, I had an injury to the shoulder a couple of months back, but thought nothing of it, now im back in the gym, the same arm just doesnt seem right, it cant lift to the extent of my right arm, and when it does, I cant keep the weight steady, any idea's as to why this might be?

No idea what the problem might be but I'd bet an explanation of how the shoulder was injured, some x-rays and a good doctor would give you that idea.
