I'm having trouble burning music in mp3 format to a blank audio cd.

I've downloaded music using frostwire and all the music is in mp3 format. I've tried to burn it on a blank audio cd using windows media player but a red incon with an x in the middle appears on each song on my burn list. Is it possible to burn mp3 music to a reular cd as I don't have an mp3 player. Thanks

As computer systems see it, a MP-3 file is a data file, not a music file. Burn it as a data file and your MP-3 player will play it. If you want to make a conventional music CD it would have to be converted to .WAV format which takes 12 times as much space on the CD as MP-3 with no benefit in this case.
