I would try to understand how he feels but would not try to change him. Lots of young people look at porn and many of them are confused about their sexuality. You must understand however that the way you feel about life is not necessarily what's best for him. There are many gay people in the world that are very happy with their life and some that were put on a guilt trip by friends and family that are unhappy. If you are a true friend, you will help him understand where he wants to go and help him get there. If that happens to be different than your choices, so be it.
