I have a 2006 kawasaki prairie 360 4x4, I need to adjust the pilot screw ( air / fuel mixture )

I know its on the bottom of the Carb, I looked at the manual, I know how to adjust it but the thin is there is a metal cap on the inside of the tube, How do I get that out so I can adjust it?
