History and evolution of cats, need good sources?

Im doing a big project on the history and evolution of cats and I need good sources? Links, companies, books, etc.

You could maybe talk about how sacred cats were in Egypt. I once heard my mom reading a book to my sister, and apparently someone killed a cat in it. Someone in the book said it was better to kill a person than a cat. I can't remember what book it was, but I think it was The Bronze Bow.
