How do individuals in african countries reconcile the legacy of the colonizers with their own cultur

Whether done from without or from within, repression has the same effect on the people living under it. By learning from the past in keeping their culture alive, demanding honesty, transparency and integrity from their leadership, Africans can recover from colonialism but the focus must be on cooperation and unity. Whether fighting colonialism or each other, the result will be the same; the people suffer and nothing will change.
