Pcos has taken its toll on me can you help?

I am a 24 yr old female and have pcos Ive been struggling with my weight and been trying for another baby for a few years I also think my depression and anxiety is caused through this too. The doctors have prescribed me many tablets and none as of yet seem to help I exercise as much as possible and eat properly as advised but dont seem to get nowhere. I feel I am being used as a guinea pig and dont get the support I need especially from the "right" people. This is taking its toll on me I really would like if anybody could advise me on what I can do or alternative treatments I could try?? If so thank you.

PCOS often affects your hormone system which can further affect a lot of other things like your weight and your mood so it's very possible depression and anxiety can be a by-product of your condition.

If you have reason to believe you aren't getting proper treatment, you should get a second opinion from another doctor.

Thank you Rob I went today and was basically told to deal with it and be grateful for what I have I was quite disgusted of his manner to be honest. I will take your advice :)
Metformin is also used in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), regulating insulin levels that in turn helps regulate menstrual cycles.

All the best!
