Very Awkward Situation with Two close friends.

Ok so i'm bi, and I have a close friend who I was going to ask when she was single, but I lost my chance and she went into a really long relationship. While in this relationship I met her bf and he was a really chill dude and we became awesome friends. They're now broken up, and I still have feelings for her. When I talked to her she said that she doesn't want to be in a relationship anytime soon until she gets some problems sorted out, I understand that, and will wait. I waited this long right. But my question is what do I do with her ex? I still want to be friends with him... But what if I do get with her, will he be mad?

I don't necessarily think he will be mad, you could still be friends and if you guys are really as good of friends that you say you are he should be supportive if anything.
