List the advantages of recording messages,why is it important not to entrust message to memory

Information that contains hard-to-remember data should be sent in a format that can be saved on your computer. Telephone callbacks are saved in the service's message center. What's left? I can't speak for anyone else but for me, the rest isn't important. Most of those messages I get, I'd rather forget. Who want's a replay of Aunt Martha's problem with the potato peels that stopped up her sink? :-)
