Printer help. Brother hl-2240d

When I turned on my computer it tried to install new firmware for my printer and hung at 90%. I reset my computer and now the printer will not even power up. The firmware seems to be corrupted.

Is there a way for me to fix the firmware myself? I don't want to have to send this thing off somewhere, and I really need it working now.

At the link below you can make sure the printer driver is the driver for the operating system you're using. If it isn't, reinstall the driver. After that re-do the update of the firmware.

If that doesn't solve the problem, contact Brother Support on the website.
