5 panel drug test.

hi, I have a question about 5 panel drug testing, I took the drug test on oct.9th for a job that I got hired for, well today is nov2nd and still they did not call me to come in for orientation. I'm a 5.8/183lab work out 5 days a week, do cardio and weight, go to sauna and drink a lot of coke. eat healthy... the thing is, 3 weeks before the test I was at a party and had like 3 or 4 poofs of weed..., so before the test I went to CVS and did a home drug test to see if I had it still in my system and it was negative... so dont know what to think of it. dont they tell you if it came positive? please let me know what you think of it and how I can find out if it was positive or negative. thanks.

I wouldn't ask about the test, just call and ask them if they have any idea when the orientation will start. They can't expect you to sit by the phone for months.

hi rob, thanks for your time, I already did go by there last week to bring some more paper work in and to check on the status, and the HR guy told me they waiting for the results from the drug test to come in. he also told me that he will call me on Monday to tell me whats up and when the orientation will start, today is Friday and still no words... it is a new big place and my friends tell me they are just may backed up with work and not to worry about it. I did call yesterday the drug testing place and ask how long does it take to get the results normally, they said about 3 to 4 days. if that's the case, I went to do the drug test on a Tuesday, they called me the next Monday to come in and do the fingerprints and the background check... I got a copy of the background check send to my email and that its all clear. so go figure...

Cannabis screening tests only detect use within a few days; a little longer for heavy users. I've never heard of one that would detect 4 puffs three weeks back. I think you are OK, it will just take a little patience. :-)
