Career Help, children and psychology

I am currently a psychology major, in my sophomore year of studies. The more I think about the future, the more I am confused. I love children, but do not wish to have a career in the medical field although I love anatomy, etc. I have a knack for speaking and anything revolving children, infants, and pregnancy interests me. I am crafty and thought already of photography, but too many people these days are opening their own businesses. Any ideas on unique careers that may have anything to do with children? I live in a rural area...there are not any adoption centers around, or large non-profit organizations that I have already thought of.

What about social work or child therapy? I'd recommend talking to a career counselor at your school.
