Counselling please reply quick :(

im 13 my mum is mentally ill I asked my school for help they hav a counsellling unit there. my dad found out n said that I shouldnt say anything bout my life to them because im nieve. but I need help. he said ill ruin my life if they get socail workers in but its not that bad that I need social workers. :( I just feel like I needed help then wen I accually asked for it, I am told ill ruin my entire life. wat should I do tell the school bout my mum or leave it and stay with my mum who I cant handle anymore

You should tell the counselor about all of it, sincerely listen and be willing to try what they may offer as a solution. There is no reason whatsoever why you shouldn't be able to talk to a counselor about your problems if you aren't getting any support from within your family.

I totally agree with Rob. Your father has made a choice to live with your mother's illness in a particular way. It's ok if you can't do the same. It doesn't mean you don't love her, or him. Talk to the counselor. Mental illness, like any chronic illness, takes it toll on families. You have every right to have your own breaking point. It's ok to get help.
