I am a 40 years man who has been suffering from poor food appetite, headache, fever, weakness, and burning sensation when passing urine, mouth sour and rashes on the skin for the past two months. The doctor suggested CBC and other tests; total WBC court is by far less than from the normal range, i.e. 1,830 cells/cumm. From bone morrow test, they confirmed that unmatured white blood cells are produced. However, the red blood cells and platelets counts are normal. The doctors are suggested that my problem early DMS blood disease. On the other hand, when I did blood test yesterday the white blood cell count became normal (4300 cella/comm) with taking any treatment, as a result I am slightly better. But, still I have a feeling headache, burning sensation when passing urine, mouth sour. Therefore, would you tell me your general suggestion? Is it necessary to to go to higher health centers for treatment?......??? Thank you so much for your help.

Go to the drugstore and get some diabetic test strips that test the ketones in your urine.

Do the use of the" DMS blood disease" is to mean "Diabetes " as an endocrinal problem!!! I thought it is "dys-myelopoietic syndrome" !? and so u suggest alone the ketones test in urine ?!I think of its possibility but there is no polyuria and polydepsia so we mostly ignore that diagnose and find what could make it from the other reasons?!!
but in diabetes the burning sensation would be somehow clearly and the diagnosis steps will change...

What is the result of urine test, It is the most important in that situation,,, if there is an infection, glucose, protein or ketons...etc
and is it only burning and no urgency (uncontrolled need to pass urine) or frequency...etc
are u under any treatment?! or use Alcohol more,,
many question are there to get better diagnosis,,,I'm thinking of the hemat.problems of the leukemia(that result in the WBC decreases),,but the endoceinal disorder are suggestive (do u've ecchymosis or just rashes and do u feel drowsiness?),,
I'm suggesting u to go to a specialist as hematologist after seeing the result of the urine test ,,,

Thank you so much all. I did the urine test 4 times: no glucose during all tests, but two times protein and blood are observed and clear for the other two tests.

Mrs. paulos sorry to be late (I'm not always on the net.)
but I'm not specialist to give you the correct diagnosis without examination...the symptoms of the DSM are most likely to yours as they are a pre-leukemic

The protienuria or hematuria goes more for infection or kidney problem but also the DMS is responsible for the more liability for infection,,,so I suggested for the further investigation under a specialist observation for the changes...

Sorry really that I wasn't of a real help and for that useless answer.....pardon
