Stain & seal combination was put on hardwood floor w/o wiping over it with a cloth. What can be used to thin out the stain & seal when halfway dry?

Is there anything that can thin out stain & seal on hardwood floors
Look at the ingredients in the can for the solvent used as a vehicle and that should thin it out. Note that spreading a volatile solvent is a very dangerous process. Open all of the windows, disconnect telephones and shut down the power to the house before spreading it. A large area of evaporating solvent can not only start an intense fire, it can explode.
