Why does my friend not want to talk to me anymore?

We were good friends for a year and then over the summer she doesn't want to talk to me anymore. We have a mutual friend, who is a guy, who betrayed her and after that she seemed to grow more distant as the last few months of school passed. I even helped her try to figure out why our freind did this. We texted a lot this summer but the frequency lessened every day. She stopped texting for a few days but she eventually said that she didn't want to talk to me. But she said it in a polite way or at least in a way I know she would use to say something hard to someone she didn't want to offend. I am not asking for advice, I just want responses as to why she would do this. I have my guesses but I just want to see if there was an aspect that I didnt think of. I havent changed much since we became friends and the only changes I have made were to make her life more enjoyable. Now it seems like she doesn't even care about me anymore. I don't like her in a romantic way and she knows that. I've even told her I see her as my sister. Girls and women please respond, I don't understand the female mind as much as I would like to. I am a guy if you haven't caught that already.

For what it's worth, there's something in what you've written that says to me you're giving her unwanted advice. Being a good friend is more often about listening than telling your friend what they should do. A good policy is to only offer others advice when they've asked for it.

Well I would just suggest that um u would ask what u did and what made her mad. I mean like my friends do that to me too and I just ask what I did,they tell me, I fix it, the we r just fine maybe just try that!!
