How do I get my husband out of solitary confinement

my husband has been in solitary confinement for 47 days and was suppossed to be released after 45. His health is bad, everytime I talk to him (15 min, 2x/week) he's coughing up mase due to it being sprayed on other inmates. He was caught fighting, but he was jumped by 3 men and defended himself. How do I get him out of there???

There's nothing you can do to control what goes on in the prison where he is held. Some people do their time and get out without any punitive measures while others make the process as difficult as they possibly can by getting involved with other prisoners.

The justice systems inside prisons are far from perfect but it takes a pretty sizable string of bad decisions to get put there and even more on top of that to get put in solitary. If you're going along with the idea that all of his problems are the fault of other inmates and the staff, you're contributing to the problem. Anything you can do to help him realize that it's HIS choices that are making his life difficult, that's the best contribution you can make.
