Does a mitsubishi pajero2.8 diesel auto import have a timing belt or chain

I don't know for sure. I drive a Jeep Wrangler. That article calls it a chain.

I found it interesting that they describe it as a "rear" chain. Sounds like there might be a front chain too but again, I'm not sure. See if you can find a Haynes or Chilton service manual for that model.

and when it breaks does it stuff the motor ???
