Does getting a tattoo hurt?

I've got a good tolerance for pain, but my dad said it hurts like no other. But I think he was just saying that to scare me out of getting one. Soo does it hurt or not? :D

Have you ever seen a journalist with tattoos interviewing the president? There's nothing wrong with a tattoo but they surely won't help you become a journalist.

Decision time.

True, but then you can have a simple tattoo that doesn't show so much and doesn't attract the wrong attention. :)

The older you get, the more you become the product of everything you ever decided. The key is to always decide in the direction of what will benefit you and decide against what will not. Ten years from now how will you be better off with a "simple tattoo?"

The first step to success is to show up. The second is to look like what you're supposed to be.

I think the amount of pain kind of depends on where you get it.
My friend has tattoos and she said they didn't really hurt at all,and she has a good tolerance for pain...

Thanks for your answer :)

Yeah it totally depends on where you get it at. My first tattoo was on my ankle and it was painful so I wouldn't recommend it there for your first tattoo.
