What does the circle p on an ultrasound stand for

If it's in a corner, I suspect it's a marker so the person viewing it can determine the orientation and, if printed on a translucent background like an X-ray, they will know whether they're looking at the back or the front. If you need to be absolutely certain, call the office that did the ultrasound.
