Drink a lot of water and limit what you eat to food that doesn't have acid like fruit, tomato based dishes etc. The toast is OK but I do something like oatmeal instead of granola. If the pain persists go to the doc.

Can it be bloating ?

It could be but bloating shouldn't give you the dry heaves. It could also be that you strained a muscle while dry-heaving. That isn't uncommon at all. If that's it, the pain should feel different when you're in different positions like bending over/standing up for example. If it's a gastric issue you should have gas. Where the pain is, whether it's constant or comes and goes will give you clues.
