Store encryption keys on usb to unlock sql server 2008 database?

I want to know how to store Encryption keys on a USB then use them to decrypt a SQL server 2008 database.

USB is an interface that allows you to connect peripheral equipment to your computer. You can't store anything on it. You need a USB based memory stick/flash drive and store the encryption keys in a file on the portable device.

I know that, perhaps I should of been more specific, doesn't matter now however I appear to have solved it.
