How do I hang cabinets

Read the instructions that came with the cabinets. Make sure the points where you attach them to the wall will support the weight of a loaded cabinet.

Locate the studs in the back wall and put screws through the back of the cabinets where they will hit the studs. If there is no back to the cabinets, make sure the point where you're attaching will support the load. For example, you cannot use "L" brackets attached to the bottom of the shelves unless the cabinets are built to be supported that way.

You can buy/rent a device called a "cabinet Jack" that safely allows raising and holding the cabinet in place while hanging or removing them.

Definitely get the cabinet jack... and a stud finder. Make sure you attach them to the studs, not to dry wall or plaster.

If you can, install the top ones first so you can save your back the pain of hanging them while leaning over the bottom cabinets.
