My cruise control stopped working for my 2002 jeep

I have a 2002 jeep grand Cherokee 4L, the hot and cold air will only blow out of the defroster vent, at the same time the cruise control has stopped working. I have checked for rips or holes in vacuum lines in the engine compartment, where else should I be looking? The car has 85K miles and is 10 yrs old but in great shape and the hoses all appear like new

Get a maintenance manual like Haynes, Chilton or the Jeep manual for that vehicle and look at the troubleshooting info. Any vehicle that age needs a manual to keep it on the road. I drive a 17 year old Wrangler and it would have been parked years ago but not for the manual.
