I'm to scared to let my hair down for school

So the last time I did it I got a lot of attention form guys which freaked me out but I coverd it with a hat, the reason is coz I'm scared people will look at me aspeacialy boys and I don't like people complimenting me I don't know why but I do what's should I do I really want to but I'm to nervous

I almost always wear my waist-length hair in updos, usually some sort of bun. On the odd occasion that I do let it down, it gets a lot of attention... as if people have never seen hair before. I think that's just what happens...

But, um, you do realize this is exactly the kind of attention your parents' rules are trying to protect you from, right???
