I have been on xbox live for long now my internet is fine but it won't let me stay on xbox live now

right I was on xbox live for long not 24/7 but just long but now my xbox live won't work when I sign in it just freezes my internet is fine I have tested it with my laptop
and I only got membership so it can't be membership
have I used up my xbox live time do I have to wait couple of days for it refresh again then I can go on xbox live again?
