A plan to leave india?

Guys I am actually from a middle class family in india. My interest is generally in screenwriting or writing novel. I really want to be writer. But my parents want me to do join in a software company having a normal life and getting married after 5-6 years some bullshit. It does not mean that I hate my parents I just hate their judgement on my career. Right now I completed my graduation and did not attended any placement. At present I am losing my mind what am I suppose to do. From childhood my passion is in movies especially hollywood movies( first time in my life I was sure about something in my life). I need a plan to leaving india go to usa join in a film institute to learn screenwriting. Actually I have been planning for this thing long time but this is going no where. Just please atleast give me some direction or hint so that I can start.

India has a viable movie industry. I would advise you to prove your abilities there before attacking Hollywood. California has a lot of homeless people who came here with dreams like yours but no money and no connections. Others have worked trivial jobs for many years while waiting and hoping that opportunity will knock on their door.

If you can't make it in the movie industry where you are, you're wasting airfare to California. However, if you can bring a resume of successful work with you, where you created products that converted to money spent at the box office, that's what will open doors for you. The mere fact that you WANT to be famous won't buy your breakfast in L.A.

If you don't have enough money and there is noone who is willing to give it to you then all you can do is find a job there and save up some money until you have enough.

P.S. I would advise editing your question and taking your emails out. Exposing them publicly is not a good idea because of spammers etc.
