Counter arguments

My teacher wants us to have one SEPERATE paragraph only with counter arguments.and my topic is : why I need a iPhone. and I am writing it to my mother. HeLp Me!!!!! it needs be kinda long like 4 to 5 sentences and needs big words I am in the 8th grade.lol

Well, you need to be as descriptive as possible, elaborate as much as you can on each argument, but don't repeat to much. Just be calm while your writing it and keep yourself from getting distracted. You can do this!

The counter argument to why you need an iphone would be to explain the reasons why you don't need one. Would the telephone sometimes interfere with your schoolwork? Does it cost money? What if you lose it or it's stolen? Do they allow them at school?

The test of good writing isn't the length of the words you use, it's how well the reader can understand the information it contains.
