Okay so I was hang out with my friends (in my dream) and every time I looked up or turned around I saw my ex boyfriend what does that mean he did not talk to me and I did not talk to him we just stared at each other and turned away
At the least, it means u still think of him on some level. zHe is ur ex for a reason. Let him go.
Dreams are random thoughts that sometimes recall images from your memory. They are all about the past and have nothing to do with anything in your future.
Rob, I have to contradict, studies have shown that sometimes dreams can give hints about the future. Please look at this article for more info.

Where are the "studies" in that article? What is scientific in the statement, "While there is no clear evidence proving that dreams predict the future..." That article lists fewer than ten examples of people who claim to have dreamed something that happened later. Considering the billions of people that have had bizarre dreams wouldn't you think that author could come up with more than few examples if there is something predictive in it?
Your brain can gather little bits and pieces of what you already know in your subconscious which can fortell of things happening in the future. I don't know why it always says that there is no scientific evidence that dreams can predict the future, because that is it!
It is very hard to come up with other examples, because often the people don't remember the dreams or didn't bother to say anything about it.

The examples they have on those sites are where people remembered the dream after the event happened. The scientific study that would prove your point would be to record the dreams when the subject woke up and then compare how many of them happen later to how many don't.
I sure hope you don't believe everything you see on the Internet. :-)
The only problem with that website that I can see is that there are no credible sources. The "people" that claim to have predicted the future could simply be made up. As Rob said you can't believe everything you see on the internet.
If the dream did mean anything than I would say that it means you are accepting the fact that you are moving on and you two are leaving eachother behind.
