Do we have acid rain/snow?

Yesterday it snowed a lot and I went out to play in it and I got really sick after that. I got a fever and threw up. I am pretty sure that it was a combination of two things. 1. I cought something from my dad and 2. I got a really bad cold. There is one other thing that could have caused this as well though. I ate a couple mouthfulls of snow and afterwards I felt like I had swallowed a bunch of pool water and that can't be from the other two things. Is it possible that I ate acid snow? I live in a rural area and I would hate to see that happen here.

Other than anything the flakes might have picked up on the way down, snow is essentially pure (condensed) water when it melts. It is very unlikely that you could have consumed enough acid from a couple mouthfuls of snow to have caused those symptoms. If someone else in your family has similar symptoms, it is likely a contagious virus, especially since you have a fever. It would have taken days for something in the snow to have produced a fever.

I guess it might be possible to eat anything, even acid snow.
However, I am not sure what happens if you do.
I am sure others who know more than me will comment.
For now, I would consider asking a pro.

When I was a little kid, we lived in a rural area and made snow cream until I was in about 6-7th grade when my mom said it wasn't safe anymore. I doubt that there were enough atmospheric contaminants in the snow to make you ill. The timing was probably adventitious... unless it's possible the snow was contaminated by something else. You know what they say... don't eat the yellow snow...

the only way you can find out is to collect some in a pot and out universal indidcator in it! but the easiest way is to just move to wales and then shag a sheep and it will sink through your dick/vagina and the information will travel to your brain!
