Is this rare?

While in my anatomy class we were learning about the eye. My professor told us to pair up and look at each others eyes to get a better idea of the eye. Well my partner noticed that both of my eyes are multi colored. The inner part of my iris is blue with it slowly becoming green as you move away from the inner iris. I hadn't ever noticed it until now, but is this some rare kind of condition?

It's not extremely rare but it's far from common. Having multicolored eyes is called heterochromia. If your eyes become darker/browner, that's hyperchromia; if lighter/bluer, hypochromia. Like many of nature's color creations, some are really beautiful. Some photos:
