I need help fixing my eMachines E627 laptop's webcam!

A while ago, I messed around with a file named PLFSetI.exe in the services dialog in msconfig.exe. I disabled it and then the webcam stopped working and the computer sometimes displays a message that says, USB Device Not Recognized. I try to open up the webcam software but it displays a message that says No camera found! I'm not sure if disabling PLFSetI.exe was what caused my webcam to completely stop working, but I checked the drivers and tried updating them but no luck. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, but there was no changes. Not even factory resets are working for me. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

In MSConfig, make sure you're not in a custom boot that would keep some drivers from loading. Next select 'Tools' then, 'Event Viewer' to see where the errors are coming from (software, system etc).

It definately sounds like that file is what has caused the problem. Try looking online to find out if this file can be downloaded back into your computer. If not then take it to a computer repair place or back to the manufacturer. They can give you some advice and maybe they will be able to fix it.
