Is the Christain "God" Perfect? I have found a great question.

I am not putting down "God" The Christain Bible.
I believe in God and Jesus but in a different way from most.
The question is.

"God" is all powerful and perfect. Right? Why did he make an angel (Lucifer) who turned on him? Off course no one can answer this, but i'll take ideas.

Unless you believe that God got out some form of divine writing instrument and jotted down the many stories in the Bible, the story of Lucifer was created by man and was first mentioned in the Latin Bible. The Bible is said to be divinely 'inspired' but not necessarily divinely produced.

You hit the nail on the head. You know much about history and full of wisdom, my friend.
I should know about history, I've lived through most of it. :-)

The point is that God granted us all free will.
Lucifer acted from his own choices. And through his jealousy of God, he turned against Him.
Lucifer wanted to be just like God, having all of the powers He has. Unfortunately, that's exactly what made him fall. His weakness was greed and God allowed it and in fact cast him away.

Very interesting question. I have often wondered about it myself. I personally do not believe in God, one of the main reasons being that there is so much wrong with the bible. For example, if He forgives everybody, then why is there a hell? He would not create a hell if he forgives all men. There are thousands of other examples like this that I could come up with, but that for me is the main one. If someone was arguing against me, a point that they could come up with would be that people have claimed to have conversation and interactions with Him. For that I would answer that the human brain is a powerful thing, and that certain people may be able to tap into some kind of force, or create it itself. We may never discover the true power of the brain. If the brain sets it's mind to it (lol) it could do almost anything it wanted.
When people think of God they often connect Him with Jesus. I view Jesus and God to be two completely different people. Jesus was a kind man who had a major impact on many peoples lives. God, on the other hand is a man created in honor of Jesus and has become quite glorified. I do not mean any disrespect to the believers of God, Jesus, or God himself (just in case), but overall I think that the story that has been created about God is definately not perfect.

People have "pipe dreams" We are raised to believe one way. Also More truth here. Who is to say, who is right and who is wrong? (No Human Alive) I can strongly say this, I feel certain things I connect too with parts of the bible. Why I believe, but I do not believe like the most. However, you live what is in your heart, because that is between you and your "God, goddess, or gods" That's who is right. Live for what is in your heart and nothing else matters.
imagine ur a policeman and have three kids. your a very loving person. u find a rapist convicted of many rapes in ur neighborhood. would u really just let him be and let him molest ur children because ur loving? if there was no jail here on earth, it would be much worse. loving does not mean no disipline. "listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching." "the father disiplines the one he loves."
I'd throw his butt in jail. This is exactly what I mean. He is supposed to love and forgive all men. But if he forgives them all of the time, then no one would get disciplined.
Not so. Forgiving someone does not absolve them of responsibility or accountability. Forgiving and disciplining are not mutually exclusive.
exactly. even if u forgave the rapist, hed probably still be in jail. exactly wat skyDancer said.
Good question:) Well from what I know, God made 'Lucifer', and Lucifer was created with his own mind to think and do what he wants. Lucifer thought that he was more powerful than God, so he turned away from Him. So, this was not God's intention. It's the same question-why did God make me? I sin too, right? God also made people who choose to be, or were raised to be atheists, satanists, etc. But, He did not make them atheists and satanists, he made them human beings, and they chose to be apart from God, just like Lucifer. God made all people, and all people are sinners. Well sin is from lack of God, not because of God. God is perfect. Again, this is only what I know and my opinion on your question:)
