What do I do if my best friends boyfriend tells me he likes me more than her?

my best friends boyfriend pulled me aside at his bday party last night and told me he liked me more than just a friend. I asked him, "what about taylor?" and he said, "im just not feelin it anymore." He's a really good friend, but I just dont know. ive always believed in the phrase 'sisters before misters'......WHAT DO I DO?!?!!

In my life, boyfriends and crushes have come and gone. My best friend from middle school, my girlfriends from college, and the like-minded women I met early in my career are still my best friends and confidants. I really do love them like sisters. Last year, one of my friends' husband sent me flowers, a hotel key, and a note asking me to meet him one afternoon. I gave her the key and the note... and she lived with us for a month while she was letting it all sink in and making arrangements to start a new life without him. I put her first.

Ask yourself these two questions. Do you want your friend to be with a guy who would disrespect her this way? Do YOU want a guy who's already shown you that he'll hop from one girl to another? My guess is that if you love your friend and yourself, your answer to both questions will be no.

I agree completely. If he will do that to his current partner, he'll do it to the next one. It's a trait of character.

It depends on what side you lean on. Are you going listen to your Id part of the brain (the devil) or the superego (the angel)? Now I will play the ego.

A.) Are you loyal to your friend and not date him. Besides if he is talking to you in that way, what makes you think he will not turn on you? A sincere guy would beak it off with the girl, before he talks to another. Now we know he is most likely sneaky.

B.) Go for him. Maybe loose your friend for good or make her mad for awhile. Loosing her trust a dent in her heart from you and him, which will always be there. Once you do something like that to your friend, most people do not forget. Also repeating, what makes you think he will remain loyal to you? It looks good but is it really? So many more guys out there.

I only see two different ways here. It's all up to you which way to pick and consider.
