Can I send food item that have preservatives for an individual (s)?

I have some pickles and preserved fruits for an individual to be sent as parcel.Is that possible?

If the foods are pickled and preserved, they should travel well as long as you pack the box well to protect everything from breakage. I'd put the containers in a plastic bag also to protect from leakage.
