If 3*1 = 2, 4*2=0 and 3*2= 1 then 3*4=?

Don't have a clue
I believe this is a graphing question. Need to use a TI-83 or whatever.
I do not remember how to do it at all.

We have to subtract first number by square of second and then ignore the sign.
so answer may be 3-16, so answer is 13.
