O.K. We Are Going On A Feild Trip On Wensday.Good Convo. Starters?

The whole 7th grade and I think 8th grade is going to a show. Hes in another class. So how do I get an easy-going convo. started? I wanna get his attention without getting in trouble. I wanna be funny with him but sweet with him too. But his buddies are always around him. Sometimes I would catch him staring at me but for a couple of seconds. So what do I do in those couple of seconds to grab his attention for a while? Just long enough to sart a convo? I wanna keep him interested from the point we get on the bus and in the theater to back to school. 'Cause after that we get out of school for two weeks. Did I mention its only half a day? I am a girl by the way.

With a shy guy you have to take command of the situation and a couple of seconds isn't much time to grab someone's attention, especially in a crowd.

I'd write on a little piece of paper, "Don't show this to your buddies. I'm tired of us staring at each other. If you want to talk, call me." and put your telephone, email or Facebook address on it. If you can catch him alone, hand it to him and walk off or put it in his pocket.

If you don't hear from him after that, it's a lost cause.
