How to promote a youtube channel?

Hey guys, I created a new youtube channel for my VFX stuff. I'm running somewhere at two subscribers? Do you have any suggestions as to how I could spread my channel around? I've heard about sub4sub already, yet i'm not sure if I should do it or not. I also post the video link up to my facebook account, but nobody really cares. The link will be here as well, if you can spread it around as well. Thanks in advance!

The key is getting the link forwarded. If you make a product that's exceptionally interesting or entertaining, you can send it to a few people and it will spread via email and social media like wildfire. If your link is not getting forwarded, that's saying people are unwilling to endorse it. You get your stuff circulated by making it something people want to share. Getting behind it and trying to push it on the web is a total waste of time.

You could also look into buying advertising on YT.

Some of the ways you can advertise your website and increase traffic are:
1. Post an article about your website on related blogs and get free back links
2. Submitting to directories
3. Free classifieds
