Afraid to fall asleep

Lately I haven't been getting enough sleep, I'm getting to the point where I'm kinda afraid to fall asleep. I would fall asleep for awhile then wake back up, but my body won't move because it's numb and I have this tingly feeling all over my body. Every night something different happens. The first time this happen I felt my blanket moving by itself, the second time this really loud ringing noise came out of no where, and the third time it felt like someone crawled into my bed with me, and I was already looking at the ground and I believe I saw something moving. I don't know if i'm hallucinating all of these things, but I can't fall asleep without that happening and it's not the best feeling in the world. Does anyone know what this might be or is this just something I have to deal with it?

Maybe since you haven't been getting enough sleep your body has gotten into a routine and is used to being up instead of taking the sleep it needs, leading to hallucinations. I think you should try getting back on track and maybe take some over the counter sleep meds to help you do so.

If you have tried to do that for a pretty steady period without any results maybe you can have a doctor see about it. If its been like this for a long time, like a few or more years, maybe your an insomniac of some sort and NEED to see a doctor.
I don't know that hallucinations is the right word or if they're just bad dreams. The question is what is disturbing your sleep. The "numb and tingly feelings" can be from the way your body is positioned and there is nothing to fear from anything you dream about. I agree with needsanswersfast. See a doctor about the sleep issue.
